Hello there!

My name is Ian and I am the owner and creator of The Great Bunch florist. The idea for this little shop germinated over the first NZ COVID-19 lock-down period. With so much unemployment and change I really felt there has to be a way for me to support locals and help bring a little happiness to peoples’ lives.

I live in the Upper Hutt area with my ever-suffering partner and a little tortoise shell cat that tolerates my existence. I have been in Upper Hutt for over ten years now and have experience in working in the retail sector as well as various degrees in fine arts and design – so Floristry was the logical step in my career.
